Is anyone else perplexed by the gas crisis right now?

Honestly? If people wouldn't freak out, it wouldn't be half as bad.  I'm running on a quarter of a tank, and I'm fine.  It'll last me at least through the end of the week. But because all these gas stations are running out of gas, I'm not sure I'll even find a stupid gas station when I DO need gas.  

I hear that the mountain region is the only region in NC with this problem. Raleigh and Charlotte and other parts of the stat don't seem to be having this problem.

*sighs* If I can get to a camera, I'll take a picture of what I"m talking about.

I went to Lake J yesterday and got what I think are pretty good shots :)

I'm not entirely sure why the first one's color is all whacked out....but I think the second one turned out okay.
